Our club had never ventured on a camping trip before. Not to mention, many of our students had never gone camping until this trip. We enjoyed many highlights: Ms. Stratton's gourmet cooking, a beautiful hike on the Walking dunes (see picture), and good company. On the other hand, we spent more time than we would have cared at the local laundromat, washing and drying our clothes, all of which got totally soaked during the first night of our trip. Not to mention, it poured like crazy on the third day as well! Everyone was a good sport about the weather ... we survived, and this was to be the first of many such trips for the club.
