North Fork of Long Island, June, 2001
For the first time in our history of going on camping trips, we didn't experience one drop of rain. The weather was absolutely beautiful and dry. We had a good crew this time around, and we spent a good amount of our time on the beach and hanging out around the site. Our campsites were nice and woodsy, and the amenities excellent. There was a good field for football, and basketball courts. Our main problem was that the ranger incorrectly felt us a troublesome group, and kept shining his high beams on us all throughout our second night of the trip.
