Art of Alex Thoman

Now, just what is this thing??? Every visitor has their own idea as to what this metallic object is. Some consider it art, some trash, some a religious object. Well, isn't that what makes for good art? ... when an object leaves everyone guessing and never in agreement.

According to Mr. Thoman, this object protects the garden against evildoers, and does a pretty good job ... most of the time!

This objet d'art is courtesy of Alex Thoman, little brother to Tony Thoman. This was part of his senior thesis project at Lawrence University in Wisconsin : a sculpture exhibit that highligthed farm machinery with animalistic elements.
