Enchanted Garden Productions Presents:

A Guide to Nature in da Bronx

Created by:

The following booklet was made possible by a grant from the Orion Society. This Stories in the Land grant allowed us to closely examine our own unique natural environment in our own backyard. Under the direction of Salid, Sara, and Elaine, students identified plants growing in the Enchanted Garden and Van Cortlandt Park for research. While each student in Mr. Carlin's Urban Biome class had to make an oral and visual presentation of these selected plants, these three students made the drawings for this classic guidebook, and directed their peers to help them write the explanations that accompany the pictures.

If you would like to view this guide, you can turn the page by clicking the front cover to the right.

As this booklet was scanned, and we wanted to preserve the clarity of the pages, the images are not as compressed as we would like, and therefore download time may take up too much of your time for each "turn of the page". To make it easier to access the pages, we are providing links below that will allow you to immediately turn to the pages you want to see.
