This was a particularly productive year for the Enchanted Garden. With Ms. Edlavich as faculty adviser, Leruin as President, and a dedicated corps of gardeners from Kennedy and Marble Hill, the club was able to effectively expand into the new space created with the construction of In Tech Academy. Raising lots of money through car washes and other sales, the club raised money to buy lots of indoor gardening equipment. A contingent of members took tree pruning and composting classes as well. It was this year that the garden was finally officially certified for its composting program by the Bronx GreenUp and won a grant from the Department of Santitation for it's composting program.
